Led a team of engineers and designers to develop an emerging market stand-alone griddle category, steering critical programs from concept approval to product launch. Successfully launched 2 grill lines within 2 years, meeting project timelines. Accelerated time-to-market by 50% through piloting new development strategies and enhancing cross functional collaboration with dynamic domestic and international teams. Managed overseas partners to ensure timely project delivery and quality designs. Developed and executed product and quality requirements using product management specifications, failure mode analysis and verification plans. Oversaw detailed cost estimates and bill of materials to ensure adherence to project budgets. 

Project Engineer OCT 2017 - FEB 2022

Executed and launched multiple new products, including the Genesis Smart Gas Grill recognized as one of Time Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2022. Managed 2 direct reports and external teams responsible for domestic and international fabrication, design concepts, and analysis. Oversaw systems integration of electrical and IoT components, gas train systems and accessories programs. Provided support for existing product quality improvements and continuous value engineering initiatives.  Managed prototype build planning to support development, marketing, and field testing.

Designed sheet metal, injection molded and cast metal components and systems. Facilitated documentation to establish guidelines and standards. Supported non-NPD initiatives including early supplier involvement and resolution of quality issues. Represented Weber during International travel for supplier visits and brand events.
